OOSIA was a semester long project at USC Games. My main contributions were:

  • Created prototypes based on quantum mechanics and relativity

  • Created and maintained the codebase

  • Conducted playtests utilizing surveys and telemetry

Process

The video below showcases the evolution of the game from our very first prototypes to our vertical slice, alpha, and best milestones. To the right is a postmortem I wrote for the game which catalogues both successes and failures, as well as lessons for future games.
